Born in Tokyo in 1973, Amano studied art in the United States. He then returned home and commenced upon a personal study that progressively lead him from the language of cinematography to that of photography.
Over the last few years, his unmistakable work has appeared in many western magazines, contributing to and feeding this artist's status as a cult figure. He has many fans and collectors throughout the world.
